Roving is not twisted and therefore wets out easily. It is used primarily for FRP composites produced for hand lay-up for local reinforcements or large moulding presses. It is often used in conjunction with chopped strand mat to add bulk and increase stiffness to boats, automobiles and storage tanks.

Resintex woven roving cloth and tapes are offered in a range of different weights including 300, 450, 600 and 800gm/ m2 weights. We also custom weave bi and uni directional narrow woven roving tapes up to 100mm wide to any weight specification. Please see our standard tapes below which are held in stock.
