Ceramic Cloth

 

• Suitable for temperatures up to 1090˚C

Ceramic cloth is a high performance fabric with low organic content woven for use in industrial applications up to 1090˚C. The cloth is wire reinforced for high strength retention and durability at elevated temperatures. It exhibits very good abrasion, mechanical abuse and vibration resistance, and remains flexible after high temperature exposure. The cloth is chemically stable and resists attack from most corrosive agents, exceptions are hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid and strong alkalis. If wet by water or steam, thermal and physical properties can be restored upon drying.

 

Applications

 

Ceramic cloth provides excellent protection from molten metal splash and is recommended for welding, metal cutting and other metal processing. Ceramic cloth is available in a wide range of thicknesses and weights.
