Basalt Webbing (Ladder)

- Woven from yarns made from texturized continuous filament basalt, these tapes are manufactured to varying thicknesses, weights, weave patterns and technique according to end-use requirements.
Applications:
Cheshire Ribbon Basalt Webbing (Ladder) are suitable for use as thermal insulation to pipes and vessels to protect personnel and to minimise heat loss. They can be easily fabricated into seals and gaskets. A range of ladder tapes are also available for use as seals on boiler and oven flanges. Basalt Webbing (Ladder) can also be used in welding applications for stress relieving and for pre-heat insulation also as oven and furnace filling and linings. Basalt Webbing (Ladder) may be applied quite easily by hand wrapping, sewing or with conventional adhesives. They can be supplied adhesive backed and laminated with aluminium foils.
Basalt Webbing (Ladder) (webbing) are available in weights ranging from 25mm – 150mm and in 1.5 and 3mm thicknesses.
