Reflective Fibreglass Heat Shield / Tape
 The base fibreglass cloth is capable of withstanding temperatures up to 550°C. The aluminium foil is heat pressure laminated ensuring a long term adhesion without cracking or peeling. The lamination acts as a heat reflection as well as being resistant to solvent liquids. This product reflects heat away and insulates heat within.
If used solely for heat reflection, we offer an acrylic adhesive backing on its inner surface which can be slit to widths & lengths or custom die cuts to complex geometric shapes. Heat Shield Tape acts as a protective wrap for fuel lines, hoses, oil lines, brake lines or radiator hoses. Very easy to apply!
Reflective Silica Heat Shield / Tape
 The base cloth is made from silica fibres capable of withstanding temperatures up to 950°C. The aluminium foil is heat pressure laminated ensuring a long term adhesion without cracking or peeling once in situ. The lamination acts as a heat reflection as well as being resistant to solvent liquids. This product reflects heat away and insulates heat within. If solely for heat reflection, we offer an acrylic adhesive on its inner surface which can be slit to widths & lengths or custom die cuts for complex geometric shapes.
Important Note
If adhesive backing is applied to the heat shields they are not suitable for wrapping around very hot components like exhaust headers. They should be applied to lower heat surfaces and used to reflect heat away. For exhaust header insulation, please see our exhaust wrap and sleeving range of products.
Spark Plug Wire Heat Shields
 This dual layered heat shield protects spark plug wires and boots from both radiant and conductive heat. The outer surface of aluminium laminated glass fibre cloth reflects heat away whilst the internal vermiculite coated cloth prevents heat from penetrating.
Welding Blankets / Curtains
 Exintex offer two types of welding blanket.
The first is made from a high temperature inorganic flexible fabric which provides extreme temperature resistance and molten splash protection.
The second is made from heat treated E - glass cloth. This product provides excellent thermal and spark protection.
Our welding blankets are available in the following standard sizes and can have corner eyelets for fastening purposes.
